Earlier this month, Matt and I took a road trip down to Coronado for my cousin's wedding. It was so, so fun. My family all flew in from out of town - since we are all spread out all over the country, it is always a rare treat to all be together. Plus, Coronado is such a charming little place. The day that we left, we stopped in to eat breakfast at this cute restaurant, Crown Bistro. Going to breakfast, for me, equals pancakes and waffles, and this place had it all. I got the lemon poppy seed pancakes and Matt got some stuffed waffle concoction. So delicious.
Also, my hair just got long enough to be put in a bun. Which means, (hair) BUNS ALL THE TIME now. Thank goodness for that.
Oh, and thank you guys for all of your kind comments on my last post. I am so thankful to have such amazing people reading this blog. You guys have been so encouraging through all my life changes I've put on this blog. So, thanks. Again.
PS Still getting the hang of these lifestyle posts. Note to self: less smiling pictures and morepretending like we're eating natural pictures.

ReplyDeleteOMG, the stuffed waffles look sooo amazing! And I've never heard of lemon poppy seed pancakes before. I love breakfast. Breakfast served all day should be standard in all restaurants.

MMM. Breakfast is my FAVORITE meal of the day and I do the pancakes route whenever I do eat out (cus I can never make good pancakes myself..haha) And I just wanted to let you know that I love your smile and that you should keep smiling in your photos..plus how could you help it this time since you're in front of a delicious breakfast dish?
