Pink pants

Scarf: Thrifted; Top: Thrifted (similar); Pants: c/o Panache; Shoes: Steve Madden (similar)

I just woke up after a long night of playing Tetris with Amber and Steven. And by a long night, I mean until 10:30PM. And I brought those round sugar cookies with the pink frosting and sprinkles on them... We party hard.

This has been kind of a weird week. In a nutshell: I got sick, got better, sent an Amazon package to an old address and got hit with all kinds of nostalgia when picking it up, lost (and found) our camera charger which led to ridiculous style blogger panicking on my part, went to literally 20 thrift/antique shops to find a no-fuss coffee table, and started packing, all while anxiously awaiting to hear back about the apartment we applied for. Exciting times, my friends.

You know what else is exciting? THESE PINK PANTS. I'd been valiantly fighting the colored pants trend... but I could not resist with these peach skinnies from my awesome sponsor, Panache. Now, I think I'm hooked. I feel like taffy in them, and I cannot tell you of a better feeling. Stay tuned next week, because I may or may not have an amazing giveaway from them...

I hope you have a wonderful Father's Day weekend!

  1. you look adorable! good luck with the apt!

  2. I've been trying to fight the coloured pants trend too but I think I'm going to cave and get a pair of red or mint ones this weekend. Loving the peach on you!

Best of luck with the move! I can't believe you've already visited 20 thrift shops. I don't think I even know of 20 in my area. :P

  3. LOVE that thrifted top! The cut is so sweet and up-to-date.

  4. This is honestly the most beautiful outfit I've seen in a while! I love pastels & polka dots a lot lately, and this is such a lovely combination of them. If that's not enough, there's something about this outfit that, to me, makes it really elegant and ladylike - in a word, perfect!

    Hope you're having a great week-end! :)

  5. Well I certainly hope you feel better!  These pants are so amazing on you!  Love the color!

  6. Beautiful!!!!!!!!!

  7. Those pants are quite fab. Good luck with the apartment! So jealous you get to escape this heat ;p

What photoshop filter do you use on your photos? I love it but can't figure it out! Love your look today.

  10. awwww, i have been on the look out for some colored denim pants for forever!!! you are just too adorable, girl! and it sounds like life has definitely been crazy, but all in good ways. i really need to go thrifting for everything when shopping for our new apartment, too! :)

  11. I had bright blue pants before the colored pants trend hit so I felt a little ahead of the times.  Pink isn't my color but these suit you!  I caved and bought yellow and mint (and even flowered) jeans, but I have a tendency not to wear pants in the summer.  I love this outfit for you.

And don't worry, 10:30 is pretty party hardy for me, too.

  12. These pastel pink pants are the perfect pants for you now that you've adopted the trend!  They are so feminine nad pretty on you, and definitely rock with your pretty tied headbands and girly tops!  I'd love to see them with your hot air balloon scarf.

That's a great find.  I adore your polka dot lilac top.

  14. Oh, I'm not savvy enough to use Photoshop, haha, so I just use whatever photo editor came with my computer. I usually just brighten my photos up, then increase the temperature, then maybe increase the saturation!

  15. Yay! We are so so excited that you love your new pink pants. That is what we love to hear. They look FAB on you too!

    ♥ xoxo.

  16. LOVE this fun, casual look Kristine!  Of you course you look cute in everything!  I have a similar top in red (w/white dots), and I always feel rather 4th of July/picnic-y when I try to make an outfit of it.  Thanks for inspiring me to try it w/a different colored pair (I mean, I do have like a dozen colored jeans!).

  17. Ok these pants are seriously SO cute!! Love them! And you paired them with the perfect top.

  18. i love the second picture... you are so asian!

  19. I love the lilac and pink together - it looks so cute! Perfect for the summer!
