My fallback outfit is a striped tee and pants. And of course, a scarf in my hair. Easy peasy. I'm still getting used to these high-waisted jeans. They kind of make me look like I have hips in these pictures, but I totally don't. Do not be fooled.
This weekend was uncharacteristically eventful. On Saturday, I made the most amazing red velvet cupcakes for a cousin-in-law's wedding. Then, I went to the Arizona Blogger Conference in Scottsdale with Miss Ashley Nielson. Great job to the Phoenix Style Collective for working so hard on it! I'm thinking I'll probably write a separate post for that one - there is so much to say, both about the event and my thoughts on blogging lately. On Sunday, Matt and I went down to Tucson to visit his grandparents. I love spending time with Matt's family. I've never had a close relationship with my grandparents, so marrying in to a family where I get two full sets of grandparents is a treat for me. (Plus, they have a cute little dog with a face like an ewok so... yeah, there's that.)

this is a good classic outfit! You're rockin' it:)
ReplyDeleteLove this look!
ReplyDeleteSaw you at the conference, but never had a chance to introduce myself! Hopefully, there will be a chance to chat at the summer event!
I love those jeans. The problem for me is that I already have hips! They don't need any help looking bigger!
ReplyDeleteBut you look great in them!
Love the classicness {is that a word?} of this outfit!
