Collared Top: Japan; Striped Top: Urban Outfitters; Skirt: Anthro; Shoes: c/o Blowfish
For this outfit, I layered a polka-dotted collared tee I got in Japan underneath this red striped top. I'm just going to say that I was kind of proud of myself for putting it together. It makes me wonder, what else can I wear this collar on top of? Oh, the possibilities overwhelm me. I've been wearing these flats lately (1) because they're cute and (2) because my feet hurt all the time since I've started working retail again. I've been trying to convince myself that maybe, just maybe, I can handle 4-8 hours in harmless 2-inch heels... not so, my friends. Not so.
The sun in Arizona makes me happy. I really like how bright and dreamy these photos turned out. Oh - and I got a hair cut! Thanks to my friend, Nadia, for suggesting her awesome sister as a hair stylist. I asked for a combination of Kirstin and Alexa Chung, but a tad shorter. Can you see it? Maybe?

I just got my hair cut too!....but I did it myself so you know.....I kind of like it messy though. I love the light in these so much! makes me so homesick.

I love the new hair! And I totally understand the terrible relationship between heels and working shifts at a retail store...bad idea! It's really unfortunate.

That collar is sooo amazing! I'd seriously want to wear it with everything :) And your new cut is so great! I really would like to cut my hair shorter, but I always chicken out at the last minute and always end up just getting a trim. One of these days...

Oh my gosh love your style! I love the pattern mixing and the fact that you put that collared shirt under there is so clever!
The sun made those pictures turn out super amazing--and it's impressive, since you can totally still see the outfit perfectly. The collar-striped-shirt layering was a stroke of genius that I'll have to copy. Some blogger a while back posted a tutorial on how to make your own detachable collar, and it's actually really easy--it would probably work really well if you wanted to change it up from the lace.
I looooove the hair cut! So good that you did it. It looks so cute on you! We are now short hair twins :) I have been wanting to even go a little bit shorter, but I'm not sure yet! Haha, also, bravo for coming up with this awesome top combination! I love the lace collar, and I'm sure you'll find so many more ways to style it.
