I'm always on the lookout for ways to transition my summer dresses to fall weather. I think olive green tights always make an outfit feel more autumn-y. Or Robin Hood-y. Or elf-y. You pick.
Sometimes, I sit in front of my computer for hours trying to figure out what to write in these little text blurbs. Luckily, I already have something planned today. The lovely Rebecca of Rebecca with an R asked me to participate in her Little Facts! Here are a few facts about me:
Sometimes, I sit in front of my computer for hours trying to figure out what to write in these little text blurbs. Luckily, I already have something planned today. The lovely Rebecca of Rebecca with an R asked me to participate in her Little Facts! Here are a few facts about me:
- Asymmetry. My left eyelashes are longer than my right eyelashes. I don't know how that happened.
- Soap operas. I used to watch soap operas with my mom when I was younger. Which might explain why I have this irrational fear about getting in some sort of accident and having my memory erased.
- Cars. I used to sit on phone books when I first started driving (I am kind of short). Nowadays a cushion will do, but I still can never figure out the width of my car while I'm driving... For example, that time I backed out of my parent's garage (in my parent's car) and accidentally tore off the side mirror. I drove around for weeks with it held together with duct tape.

What a sweet way to transition your summer dress. The green tights are a fun touch.

One of my first cars had a bench seat in the front (it was old, okay??) and I could NEVER get it moved forward far enough. My dad had to rig something up so it was high enough for me to reach the pedals.
ReplyDeleteOMG Kristine! I cannot wait to do these little facts today too, for that same reason. Anything that gives me inspiration on the writing front is a good one! I totally tore the passenger side mirror off of the car I drive now backing out of the garage too! LOL AND I used to watch General Hospital and One Life to Live with my grandma all the time when I was little. I was like 10 and being like "Sarah and Jaimie are SISTERS?!?!?!" lol
ReplyDeleteI love your olive tights. You are right--perfect for fall. But no one better call me Robin Hood. I've had enough of those shenanigans!
You are so cute!! And I love this outfit!!! I can't believe you had to sit on phonebooks to drive teehee :)
ReplyDeletei'm gonna go with robin hood, but in the best way ever! how cute is it that you sat on phone books to drive? you're mini, i love it.
ReplyDeleteHaha I'm short as well, so I have to move foward the driver's seat as much as possible! Never thought of placing a cushion haha :) x

ReplyDeletein loooove with that outfit! also i hear you on the short girl driving problem. during a drivers ed class the teacher wouldn't give me a booster thing to sit on so i had to sit on my left foot for the whole thing. it was death. my poor foot fell asleep with in minutes but i had no other option.
ReplyDeletePretty sure you make everything look amazing!
